Placemaking Western Balkans has a vast experience in youth activities and remedial placemaking (upgrading of public space in challenged neighbourhoods for the well-being of everyone) through the national and international experts who are part of their team. The organisation has excellent, strong ties with relevant European and Dutch placemaking and social innovation knowledge networks and institutions through the previous engagement of its team experts in joint projects and events. On the local level, since its recent inception, Placemaking Balkans has been active and successful in implementing various small-scale actions in several cities in the region in the past 2 years (in total 4 workshops and 1 collective placemaking art intervention) PWEB is currently partnering organisation of a ongoing Erasmus+ project on Mobilizing youth for gender inclusive cities (MAAT), which has many complementary activities to this project.
